What We Accpet:

Air Conditioning & Heating Units

  • Must be less than 10 years old
  • Working order
  • Whole house or window model

Appliances

  • Must be less than 10 years old
  • Clean and in working condition
  • Must have all parts/accessories
  • Small kitchen appliances

Brick/Block

  • Neatly stacked and palletized
  • Minimum of 25 blocks
  • Drop-off only

Cabinets/Countertops

  • Only complete cabinets with all doors and drawers
  • Door attached
  • No broken pieces or warped wood
  • No built-ins
  • No countertops less than 4' with holes unless it is part of the batch being donated

Carpet

  • Room size (8' X 10') pieces and greater
  • Only brand new or gently used

Doors

  • Interior, Exterior, Screen, Security
  • Solid doors preferred
  • Pre-hung
  • No broken glass or damaged wood
  • Free of bowing, twisting, holes or gouges
  • Prefer door knobs removed and bagged separately

Electrical Fixtures, Parts, Supplies

  • Must be in working order
  • Clean and rust free

Furniture

  • Household furnishings in excellent condition (7 years old or newer)
  • Antiques in good condition
  • No pet destruction of any kind
  • Overall excellent condition
  • Upholstery must be clean, free of stains, not worn, torn or damaged
  • Must be from a smoke-free environment
  • NO BABY CRIBS
  • Headboards and footboard with rails

Hardware Door & Cabinet knobs, hinges, locks, nails, screws, nuts & bolts

  • Please keep separated, boxed or bagged

Kitchenware Complete sets of dinnerware

  • Silverware, kitchen utensils
  • Pots/Pans (must be free of scratches, dents)
  • Serving bowls, Tupperware, storage containers


Lighting

  • Floor & table lamps (wiring must be in good condition)
  • Ceiling fans (with all parts)
  • Must be in working condition with complete parts

Lumber

  • Dimensional- must be 6' or longer
  • Sheets- 1/2 sheet or greater in excellant condition
  • Free of rot, nails, and screws
  • No scraps accepted

Paint

  • No open cans
  • Cannot be older than 3 years old
  • No un-labeled cans
  • Full gallons or 5 gallons only
  • Stain, driveway sealer grout

Plumbing

  • Toilets- (must be clean. no toilet seats)
  • Sinks
  • Vanities- drawers and doors must be attached. Must be in excellent condition
  • Bathtubs & Shower surrounds. Must be clean and free of stains, marks, and gouges

Roofing

  • Un-opened bundles
  • Non-damaged
  • No scraps
  • Non-expired adhesive
  • Gutters (unused)


Tools

  • Hand or power
  • Good condition
  • Power tools must be working
  • Cords and batteries must be included

Tile/ Hard- Wood Flooring


Floor & Wall

  • Must be in boxes
  • Minimum quantity of 20 sq. ft.
  • Only new tile accepted

Windows

  • New- construction or retro-fit
  • No metal, single pane
  • No broken glass
  • Must be assembled in frames


Scrap

We will gladly accept your scrap! You can assist our ministry by donating any metal we can sell for scrap. That would include, but is not limited to the following: non-working appliances (appliances with Freon will be charged a $25 fee for removal), metal fencing, poles, & metal bed frames.
